The newly formed group, MARA, with the song “Aħjar Hekk Inkella Agħar”, written by Emil Calleja Bayliss and composed by Philip Vella placed in fourth place, and third amongst the public, in the final of Muzika Muzika 2022.
The festival was held between the the 21st and 23rd of April 2022. 21 songs competed in the semifinal , where 12 made it to the final which took place on Saturday 23rd. On Friday night, during the classics night, the group MARA, interpreted the song “X`Jimpurtani” together with Philip Vella.
