Rachel Lowell will be taking part in this years final of L-Għanja tal-Poplu with the song “Ħarstek”, written by Joe Julian Farrugia and composed by Philip Vella.
In the final, which will be held at Pjazza Teatru Rjal in Valletta the singers will be accompanied with the Malta Concert Orchestra. 178 songs were originally submitted, of which where short-listed to 40 semifinalist and finally the sixteen finalist songs were then selected. These songs will be performed and broadcast live on TVM on Saturday 7th August at 9pm.
