Rachel Lowell wins National Italian competition: L-Italia: Lingua e Musica

Rachel Lowell, a student from the St. Theresa College Secondary School in Mriehel has won a national competition entitled L-Italia: Lingua e Musica.

This competition was held under the patronage of the Italian Embassy and in collaboration with the Education Faculty of the University of Malta, together with the Department of Italian within the Department of Curriculum Management and The Italian Cultural Institute.

The contest was opened for students from Local Schools around Malta and Gozo and Rachel Lowell represents her school with the song Il Mare Calmo Della Sera.

The judges visited the competing Schools in April and the 16 chosen finalist performed once again in the Final which was held at St. Benedict College in Kirkop.
