Rachel Lowell placed Third in the 43rd edition of L-Għanja tal-Poplu

Rachel Lowell placed third in the 43rd edition of the L-Għanja tal-Poplu a Singing festival dedicated to  Maltese song . Rachel interpreted the song “Minn Kajfas Għal Għand Pilatu” which was co-written by Rachel Lowell, Philip Vella and Emil Calleja Bayliss.

Rachel  with the song “Minn Kajfas Għal Għand Pilatu” also won Best Original Song.

The Sixteen finalist songs were interpreted during the the L-Għanja tal-Poplu Final which was held at Pjazza Teatru Rjal on Saturday 31st August 2019, and was broadcast live on TVM2. These having been chosen from 111 songs entered for this competition. The finalist songs were accompanied by the Malta Concert Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Joe Brown.
